The “LOVE” month is one way that can be used to describe February. I want to capitalize on this description by encouraging you to “show yourself some love” this month - actually I hope you’ll show yourself, love, all year long but that is a topic for another post 😁
As you know, it is all too easy to get wrapped up in the day-to-day and lose out on taking care of yourself. When we neglect ourselves, we set ourselves up to possibly experience loss. A loss in any form: sleep, nutrition, etc, can impact our health. As I have previously highlighted, and you are fully aware, health issues can manifest themselves in many ways including scalp and hair concerns.
As we start off this brand-new month, I ask you to show yourself some love.
Might I suggest:
Develop a health routine that includes “loving” your skin, hair, and physical being.
Spend 30 minutes each week, this month, doing something that you enjoy.
Make time to connect with a friend or loved one at least two times this month.
Enjoy a favorite snack at least once a week.
You get the idea. It isn’t the “what” you do that is important. It is the “doing something” that matters.
So on this 2nd day of Love, make a plan to take care of yourself.
